Characteristics: Large shrub, 3-17 m tall; branched aerial roots; leaves dark green, sharp-curved prickles on margin and midrib; inflorescences, cone-like, compound; flowers, golden-yellow; fruit, drupe, orange-red when ripe, fleshy, 5-6 angled.
Spot character: Long leaves with spiny in the edge
